Elias Al Taeeno

Since childhood, Elias Al Taeeno has had a passion for legal and financial matters. Even before successfully completing his pre-university secondary education (atheneum) in 2023, he took his first professional steps in the world of accounting and tax advisory services.

As early as 2022, Elias began his career at a renowned accounting firm, where he quickly developed into a versatile professional. There, he gained extensive experience in managing the accounts of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and filing VAT returns. Alongside his job, he has taught himself how to prepare annual accounts for micro-enterprises and has specialised in filing income tax and corporate income tax returns, pension declarations with the Transport Pension Fund (Pensioenfonds Vervoer), and handling payroll administration, including payroll tax returns, payslips and employment contracts.

Elias’s dedication to his field is reflected in a wide range of certifications. He holds the Certificate of Professional Competence for the carriage of goods by road, for which he successfully passed six examinations. In addition, he has extensive knowledge of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht, Wft), with certifications in the basic module, private non-life insurance, commercial non-life insurance, mortgage credit, investments and pensions. In the legal domain, Elias has also obtained multiple certifications in various areas of law, and he is a certified prevention officer (preventiemedewerker).

Elias is currently a second-year Law student at Leiden University. He is working towards his bachelor’s degree with the aim of becoming a lawyer, specialising in employment law, corporate law and administrative law. His practical experience includes drafting and submitting notices of objection against Mulder decisions (Mulderbeschikkingen), as well as in-depth knowledge of the Dutch Working Conditions Act (Arbowet) and the guidelines of the Netherlands Labour Authority (Arbeidsinspectie, formerly the SZW Inspectorate).

In his litigation practice, Elias has already successfully completed two proceedings before the subdistrict court (kantonrechter). In one of these cases, he faced a large company represented by two lawyers, each with more than ten years of experience. He is also preparing proceedings before the administrative court against a municipality on the basis of the General Administrative Law Act (Algemene wet bestuursrecht). In addition, he is drafting writs of summons in two cases before the subdistrict court against separate multinational aviation companies, one of which is based abroad. These experiences underscore his ability to tackle complex legal issues with determination and decisiveness.

In his young career, Elias has already built up an impressive track record. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, he has decided to establish his own company: ELARK | Administraties | Juridisch.
